The EA team is comprised of such an eclectic and diverse mix of people. Our employees have backgrounds in art history, architectural design and fashion; theatre, dance and the arts; public relations and catering. So naturally, the question frequently arises, “Where do you get your inspiration?”

“Inspiration comes from my family, nature and foremost culture in terms of art shows, concerts, fashion, design and architecture – locally and globally. I prefer to be inspired foremost by travel, but when that is not an option I look to the New York Times, Architectural Digest, Gourmet, pop culture and life in general.”
 - Gabrielle Martinez, Chief Creative Officer

A Christian Siriano dress on the left inspired an event color scheme; the umbrellas on the right inspired an event concept.

“One of the best ways to be inspired in the area of events and technology is to look to fashion, entertainment and the arts. Some of the most intriguing, latest and greatest can be found in the "People Are Talking About" section of Vogue.com. The website as a whole also serves as an amazing retrospective on beautiful people, parties and places as well as a look towards the future in terms of what’s to come.”
 - Hunter Haas, Concept Development

Designer David Stark’s Blog Sketchbook. Whether he’s writing about a recent event that his team put together or if he’s posting images of graffiti found in the city, David’s blog entertains, amazes and inspires me. Also Colourlovers.com for color palette and pattern stimulation!”
 - Erin Trimble, Event Producer

“Fresh spring air in Chicago! The first long walk of the year by Lake Michigan, when the fresh air seems to blow away any cobwebs in my brain. Complete rejuvenation!”
 - Courtney White, Event Producer

“Production value and the theatre; lighting, sound, elements that portray the story as well as performance and choreography. It is the ability to suspend reality!”
 - Cory Fowkes, Event Producer
