Director of Client Services

The Director of Client Services will oversee a Revenue and Business Development Plan to meet EA’s business goals and drive sales forecasting and planning activities.   The Director will lead client relationship development, project engagements and new business development strategies with prospective and existing clients.

The Director must be a senior level marketing and communications professional with demonstrated success in sales/account management and designing and delivering experiential marketing solutions.  

The Client Services Director will serve as a member of the Event Architects' Leadership Team.  The Director of Client Services will serve as an ambassador of the Event Architects brand and core values. This position will lead the Client Services Department and team of Account Managers.  

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual revenue and business development plan to meet EA business goals:  lead sales forecasting activities, develop annual sales plan and set employee performance goals 
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative Services and Production Directors to set annual business goals and ensure that strategies and processes are aligned 
  • Lead the development of customized experiential marketing strategies that meet clients’ business and marketing objectives and drive desired stakeholder actions 
  • Lead new business development strategies (prospecting, solicitation and acquisition) and inform contract discussions to ensure that expected deliverables are actionable and support revenue goals
  • Build trusted, “go-to” partnerships with senior-level executives in client organizations
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by soliciting and monitoring feedback and developing solutions for the prompt resolution of any issue
  • Manage and develop staff:  Provide professional development and mentoring to members of the Client Service Team; conduct annual performance management
  • Continually seek to improve employee capabilities, organizational resources, processes and procedures in order to maximize the efficiency and productivity of EA

  • Extensive experience interfacing with clients and counseling C-suite executives
  • Will be respected internally with the ability to mentor,  develop employees, challenge status quo and influence new ways of thinking
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of success in sales/account management in experiential marketing or communications field
  • Revenue forecasting and fiscal management with top-tier clients
  • Proven success in new business development through networks and relationships with decision-makers
  • A strategist with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary marketing strategies
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of leading industry trends 
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering winning proposals to clients
  • Expertise in best practice marketing, advertising and media strategies
  • Bachelors degree or higher in one of the following areas: business, marketing, communications
