The Absolut Spirits Company, Inc. partnered with Event Architects to launch the newest flavor in the ABSOLUT catalog, APEACH, in May 2005. The elements of an all-star rock concert helped us introduce ABSOLUT APEACH to Chicago. Custom bar designs gave way to new vodka concoctions. Avant-garde characters such as tight rope walkers, acrobats and drag queens dressed as living peach trees captured audience attention. Fuzzy peach décor draped the interior of Chicago's Union Station. An elevated drummer played ferociously to the beats of a DJ while go-go dancers' silhouettes inspired energy. The audience enjoyed the show while awaiting the entrance of the surprise band They Might be Giants.
