Cancer Treatment Research Foundation
The Cancer Treatment Research Foundation hosted its fundraising event "Midnight in Marrakech" in November 2006. Event Architects fused elements of a traditional elegant gala with themes from a Moroccan marketplace and helped CTRF raise an astounding $1.3 million dollars in a single night. Chicago's majestic Aragon Ballroom hosted a vibrant tented marketplace downstairs during the reception. After buying goods and bidding on auction packages, guests ascended the stairs and entered the magical ballroom to enjoy delicious Moroccan flavors, emotional speeches, specially edited video vignettes, a lively auction and celebrity entertainment underneath the stars of Marrakech.
