Fergus Rooney understands how to best enhance a company's event marketing strategy through his progressive and strategic vision. His business and production style are continuously praised through testimonies from a high-profile clientele list.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in Business Science and a graduate degree in Hospitality Management from Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland, Fergus accepted a position at Searcy & Tansley in London, where his project profile included popular sporting events such as Wimbledon, the Royal Ascot, the British Open and the Henley Regatta. While living in the UK's capital, Fergus had the opportunity to maneuver enormously large and challenging events into effortless successes.

Fergus Rooney moved to the United States and anticipated the day he would open his own event planning agency. After a lucky lottery draw for a green card and quick weekend trip to visit friends in Chicago, he decided to make the windy city his new home.

Fergus quickly established himself in the event planning arena while working in off-premise catering. His colleagues were impressed by his ability to easily produce large-scale events while incorporating other creative elements, such as lighting, floral and staging. Fergus understood the demand for one-stop shopping and took advantage of the gap in the event industry when he created Event Architects in 1999.

Event Architects has rapidly grown over the past few years from a small boutique agency into Chicago's premier event solution provider from prestigious Chicago clients to national organizations.
